This book has been essential in my discernment and will recommend it to anyone I know that is thinking about becoming a priest or going to seminary.

I purchased this book for a young man who is discerning the priesthood and he has found it interesting and insightful. He is reading it and discussing it with his own spiritual director, which is probably the best way to go with these sorts of things, but he says that it has been a very useful book.
Great book for discernment. It is really well-written from someone who has a lot of experience with people looking for their vocation in life. I found it very useful.

My impression of a lot of the books out there on vocations has been that they are not much more than propoganda intended to draft men into the priesthood. This book is not like that. It answers all the tough questions with honesty while describing with clarity both the challenges and rewards of priesthood. I highly recommend it!
