Lentz has compiled a resource that is similar to his Science Fiction, Horror and Fantasy Film and Television Credits (McFarland, 1994).The first volume details the creators of the western genre in two sections: Actors and Actresses and Directors, Producers and Writers. Each section is arranged alphabetically by the person's last name, followed by a complete list of movie and TV credits that is thoroughly cross-referenced to the other sections. For example, it is noted that John Ford had acting roles in three of his 1917 directorial efforts. The second volume is also arranged in two sections: Film Index and Television Index.
