#208,430 Paid in Kindle Store (See Top 100 Paid in Kindle Store)

I preordered this book months and months ago, and have been (im)patiently waiting for it ever since. It came on Tuesday and I’ve already made 5 recipes from it (it’s Friday now). I flipped through it as soon as I opened the package, made my shopping list, and hit the store. The recipes are so easy to follow, the ingredients can be found in any grocery store, and everything turns out tasting like you’ve been slaving away in a kitchen for hours despite being able to prep in under 10 minutes. I thought Jennifer had nailed it with her last IP cookbook because I’ve still got several of those recipes on repeat, but this one is far better. I don’t think I’ll be using any cooking platform other than my IP until I’ve worked my way through this entire cookbook because everything in it looks divine.Though I am certainly no food photographer, I had to capture the meals I’ve already made so I could brag about this book to everyone I know (which I have been). Pictured are: 5 minute tacos, ghee smashed potatoes with yum yum chicken, sausage and spinach soup, and beef and broccoli. All of them were filled with flavor that I didn’t think was possible from the short ingredient lists.Seriously, get this book! You won’t regret it one bit.PS if you’re doing a Whole30, this book is for you! I’m on round 9 currently, and pretty much know the rules inside and out. I can tell you that at least 90% of these recipes are compliant (ingredients-wise, they all are, but SWYPO-wise, a few are out) and will save you from having to do so many dishes in your 30 days.

Ran right to the store after receiving and perusing this cookbook!I made the Queso Dip, Quick + Zesty Enchilada Soup and Crust-less Chicken Pot Pie already and I was not disappointed with any of them! Can't wait to cook my way through the rest of this book! Thanks Jen, for another great cookbook!***edited***Ok, I did a bit of batch cooking the other day, tasting a few more recipes.A couple things...1st I have not yet been disappointed with any recipe! 2nd What I have frozen reheats wonderfully! Big YAY on both counts! Now my freezer is stocked with about 1 1/2 weeks worth of food and I'm thinking a new batch cooking day is in order because I want to taste more! This cookbook has yet to make it to the shelf with my other cookbooks because I keep picking it back up & looking for what to make next. Heck, it's sitting right next to me on my bed right now as I'm typing this!Jen hit it out of the park with this one! So much goodness in one little book!

Just got this book a few days ago, so working my way through the recipes. Wonderful so far! A few things to note, a lot of the recipes use coconut aminos, which is fine, unless your husband has a coconut allergy, like mine does. So, that does leave out a few recipes unless I can figure out how to substitute for the coconut, since I can't use soy. The author suggested worcheshire sauce. I made Sausage and spinach soup, a green soup and Chicken dish, all were just as easy as Jennifer says they would be.

This cookbook is so amazingly simple to follow, and the recipes are fool proof. I have a few other instant pot cook books and I can already tell that this one is the only one I ever really needed. The recipes are for real people, with busy lives who want great tasting, fast meals that use real ingredients. Beyond the recipes being tasty, affordable and easy, I also am happy to support a wonderful author who puts great content out online (a lot of which is for free) and also makes the best grain free bread on the market (Legit Bread Company)! You won't find a better cookbook for fast, easy and inexpensive paleo instant pot meals out there!

I've made quite a few recipes from this cookbook already and all of them have been family favorites. We had the Southwest Sweet Potato Chili last night and it was SO GOOD. It also took about 10 minutes of active prep/cook time and another 35 mins of instant pot time, which was perfect for a weeknight meal for my family of 5. The Yum Yum chicken is also a family favorite - I often make a double batch and have leftovers throughout the week. My 2 year old and 5 year old love this one! Seriously, this book is amazing. The recipes are simple, the ingredients can be found at your local grocery store, but everything turns out so delicious. And the instant pot means a lot of the work is hands off. If you're doing a 21 Day Sugar Detox, AIP or even a Whole 30, this book will help you out so much! Sloppy Joe's on are tap for tonight!

This is one of many Paleo cookbooks I have and was very excited to have one dedicated solely to InstantPot recipes so I definitely appreciate it for that.A few of the ingredients are difficult for me to source even though I live in a larger city. In most of the Paleo world white potatoes are not Paleo but she does use them in several of her recipes which is fine, I can just sub them out for something different like I would any other ingredient I can't have or don't like. The author did, however, essentially mock someone who reviewed her book stating that white potatoes weren't Paleo by making several "PSA" posts on social media in a rude/mocking manner which really turned me off. It's not a flattering look. Instead she could have shared why she considers them Paleo and shared references to educate people on her stance. So, whether they're Paleo or not is debatable but the way she approached it was awful. The recipes in the book are just okay in my opinion. I've made a handful of them and so far everything has tasted just average and nothing has been so good we want to put it on a regular rotation. When I compare the flavor of the recipes to Cristina Curp's Made Whole or Danielle Walker's 3 cookbooks I'm definitely left underwhelmed and it's not due to the fact that these are InstantPot recipes. Jennifer Robins has a Chicken Yum Yum recipe on her blog that is definitely amazing and we make that frequently. There is a similar version in this book but I just make the original one. The book isn't expensive so I'm not upset about purchasing it but I don't think I'll use it as much as I had hoped.
