I recommend it for all Presbyterian church musicians, and as a resource for musicians and worship leaders in other denominations as well. It contains much historical information about the hymns in the Glory to God hymnal. Most of these hymns are contained in other mainline denomination hymnals. It is good to have on hand as a resource.
I use this as a reference, and it's invaluable. Not to mention well written, and very interesting.
